In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government declared a public health emergency (PHE) and passed a law that allowed patients to automatically keep their Medicaid coverage since March 2020.
However, it’s important for your patients to know how and when they need to complete their Texas Medicaid renewal, to ensure continued coverage when the PHE ends.
