On June 20, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release offering an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. While the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is not yet complete, UnitedHealth Group has started the process to notify impacted customers and shared a website that provides additional information. UnitedHealth Group continues to offer credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. ATTENTION LTSS PROVIDERS: 2023 Cost Report Due to HHSC by 5/15

This notice is to inform Superior HealthPlan STAR+PLUS Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) providers that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission’s (HHSC’s) Provider Finance Department (PFD) has not received acceptable 2023 Cost Reports.

According to HHSC, failure to complete and submit the report constitutes an administrative contract violation as stated in the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Cost Determination Process rules. For more information on the TAC rules please review the, Title 1 of the 1 TAC Section 355.105(b)(4)(C).

In accordance with the TAC Administrative Contract Violations, if providers did not submit an acceptable cost report by the due date, April 30, 2024:

  • HHSC grants a compliance period of no more than 15 calendar days.
    • The compliance period to submit an acceptable cost report ends May 15, 2024.
  • HHSC will request that Superior places a hold on payments to providers if not submitted within this compliance period.
