Pharmacological Management of COPD

Superior HealthPlan would like to share information regarding pharmacological management for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) depending on a member’s need. Not all members with COPD have the same symptoms and treatment may differ from person to person.

Providers can work to create the best treatment plan to address the COPD symptoms based on each individual’s needs. By providing the right treatment, members can breathe better, do more of the things they enjoy and have fewer flare-ups or exacerbations.
