No Cost Health Care through Texas Health Steps

The Texas Health Steps program provides no cost health care for children, teens and young adults from birth through 20 years old who have Medicaid. Regular checkups help children stay healthy. That’s why Superior encourages our members to go to their Texas Health Steps appointments so they can get the care they need as they grow.

A few key services that Texas Health Steps provide are:

  1. Checkups or well-child visits: Free medical checkups starting at birth that include health screenings for various conditions or illnesses.
  2. Dental care: No cost dental care starting at six months old.
  3. Immunizations: Your child will receive the recommended vaccines they need based on their age.
  4. Care Management: A Care Manager can find out what services your child needs and where to get these services.
