Availity Portal Maternity App

Superior is partnering with Availity to offer OBGYN’s the Availity Portal Maternity App. This app is featured in the Availity Portal, and gives providers an electronic option to notify Superior of pregnant members. Superior will utilize the data provided to identify electronic obstetric authorization, and close open Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures.

The application also allows providers to share additional member information, including the member’s:

  • Age
  • Estimated due date
  • Prenatal and postpartum visit appointment dates
  • Claims on file
  • Notification of Pregnancy date

Please note: Submission of information through the Availity Portal Maternity App does not replace the submission of a Notification of Pregnancy form, which can be found on Superior’s Provider Forms webpage.
