On June 20, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release offering an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. While the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is not yet complete, UnitedHealth Group has started the process to notify impacted customers and shared a website that provides additional information. UnitedHealth Group continues to offer credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. Join us for a Hospital Forum! Provider Account Managers will be hosting this event to go over important billing reminders, authorization processes and other tips to make working with us easy. We will review key processes for Superior HealthPlan Medicaid (STAR, STAR Health, STAR Kids, STAR PLUS) , CHIP, Wellcare By Allwell (HMO and HMO SNP) and Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan. 

This forum is an opportunity for Superior to gather valuable feedback from network hospital providers about processes and interactions with Superior Departments. Provider feedback that will be requested includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Billing and Payment
  • Prior Authorizations
  • Issue Escalation/Resolution
  • WellCare Processes

Our goals is to bridge the gap, while strengthening the relationship between Superior and our providers.
